Two Northern Ireland housing bodies have scooped major awards.
The Housing Council has paid tribute to two organisations following major successes at separate UK awards events.
The Northern Ireland Housing Executive has been awarded the UK Excellence Award 2009 beating off stiff competition from the private sector. This is a major tribute to both the organisation and its staff.
Clanmill Housing Association then made it a double celebration for Northern Ireland by winning the overall prize at the UK Housing Awards 2009 for its shared future housing scheme at Causeway Meadows in Lisburn.
